Shipping & Freight

Orders within New Zealand supplied ex our distribution facility are shipped via the PBT Group either with PBT Couriers on a ‘Signature Required’ ticket or with Peter Baker Transport on a consignment note basis.

If we have supplied you with courier ticket information, you can track the shipment of your order online via the PBT website www.pbt.co.nz or you can access the tracking page directly from our homepage.

All shipping charges are calculated at the time your order is processed. You will need to select the shipping area e.g.: North Island or South Island and the method. The method or delivery service is based on the overall weight and actual size of your order. All items will typically be sent via PBT Couriers unless mentioned. Large or bulky (e.g. large tents or a number of combined items) will be sent via a road transport carrrier.

Our aim is to process your order by the end of the day in which we receive payment confirmation. Depending on your choice of delivery method your order can take up to 5 days to arrive if delivery is between islands. You should allow up to 5 working days from the placement of your order for your goods to arrive. In most cases however you will receive your order within 1-3 days.

NB: If you are a rural delivery customer it may take an additional 1-2 days for your order to arrive.

NB: All "Membership" freight free deliveries are sent on a non-urgent basis via an Economy service. North Island deliveries are typically still an overnight service, with South Island deliveries being a 48 hour service. Urgent deliveries will attract a delivery surcharge. We will contact you to confirm the delivery surcharge prior to shipping your order.

South Island - Economy Delivery: 2-3 day delivery

Currently our website accepts overseas orders shipping to Australia, East Asia*, United States, Canada, UK & Europe*. International customers outside these regions can contact us directly via email here

NB: Orders sent via International Air are Non-trackable. Items up to the value of NZ$250 are insured. If the value of the goods / order is over NZ$250 there is no insurance cover. For orders over NZ$250, we recommend using the International Economy Courier service which includes insurance cover up to the value of NZ$2000.00.

NB: Orders sent via International Economy Courier are trackable and are insured up to the value of NZ$2500.00. If your order is over the value of NZ$250 we recommend using this service.

 

Cover for Loss or Damage - Orders sent via International Air include cover for loss or damage of up to NZ$250. If your order is over NZ$250 in value we recommend your order be sent via NZ Post International Economy Courier. Orders sent via International Economy Courier include include cover for loss or damage up to NZ$2,000. Additional cover for either service is available on request but will be added to the total shipping price.
