The Luxe Sil Shelter is the ideal ultra lightweight 2 man Bivvy shelter. Weighing in at a mere 1.56 kg it is compact and easy to pitch, the ultimate technical companion for the backpacking minimalist or hunter when venturing outdoors.

The Sil Shelter's tunnel design cheats the wind and will stand firm and stable in more adverse conditions. The steep sides and end doorway provide the best shelter from the wind and rain. The peaked zippered doorway design prevents rain blowing in easily. The front doorway can be opened up fully and a pole or trekking stick added to the front peak of the doorway to increase the shelter area.

The alloy pole fitted through a sleeve at the back of the fly allows the Sil Shelter to virtually free stand with only the open end needing a pole or tying off to support the shelter. The sloping end can be pitched into the prevailing wind and provides excellent wind shedding properties. Each corner at the rear of the shelter has an inbuilt vertical stiffener with tension adjustment to provide extra strength and stability to each corner and to improve the usable internal space of the shelter.

There are ample tie down points on the rear pole sleeve, centre of the rear sloped end and front doorway to provide extra stability when in stormy conditions. The Sil Shelter is quick and easy to erect with only 5 x pegs needed. 9 x pegs are provided in total for extra peg points at the sides, the optional pole and guy ropes.

The Sil Shelter is supplied with a box wall sided internal footprint, carry bag, 9 x pegs and all necessary guy ropes. Optional lightweight tarp poles are available separately.

NB: Tent will need to be seam-sealed if used in heavy rain.
