In 2003, Geoff Rawlings built EquipOutdoors from a DIY website and a TradeMe store. Over two decades, that online operation grew into NZ's largest independent outdoor retailer with a physical store in Hamilton, a full e-commerce operation, and a team of outdoor enthusiasts who actually know the gear they sell. Geoff started EquipOutdoors in 2003 with a website, a TradeMe account, and an obsession with outdoor gear. 20 years later, he still personally vets every product that lands on the shelves. If it's not gear he'd take on a trip himself, it doesn't make the cut.
Callum Rawlings
Callum grew up around outdoor gear and knows the product range inside out. You'll find him in the warehouse, out filming gear content, or answering the kind of detailed product questions that take most people a Google search to figure out.
