Slept with the RAB Bivi bag under the stars in torrential rain. Didn't batter an eye lid. Good night's sleep and dry as a bone.

We chose this over cheaper alternatives because it is 45cm high. It's similar competitors are only 24-30cm high, which is way too low for us as we wanted a camping coffee table. Honestly this thing is awesome - light, folds up in it's own carry bag, and fits perfect in those little car boot gaps. Have thrashed it so far on day trips and over nighters and it's been solid. Even put a hot pot on it and it hasn't even marked it. Everyone who lays eyes on it has asked where we got it from, so it must be pretty good! Recommend this 100%!

We've bought our Takahe 10 nine years ago from Equip Outdoors and it's been fantastic. It's been used most years with some serious weather thrown at it and no issues. In the high winds it flexes better than most tents around and we've had impressed campers commenting on how well it handles nasty winds. The fly seams are starting to show a few leaks now so we will reseal it and carry on. Putting it up isn't too complicated . The front "lobby" room is awesome when it gets rainy and let's plenty of ventilation through for drying towels etc. No parts have broken and we'd definitely look at getting another Takahe when we need a 2nd tent
