What a cracking tent. I've had the olive coloured version that I adore as it's the most stealthy when bush camping. I've taken mine on quite a few trips into the Aussie Outback and am sadly saying goodbye to mine on my motorcycle trip around the world as I've worn it out. The many heavy winds, rain, UV and set ups have taken their price. I camped in it in the desert, semi urban environments, on a lonely island, on the beach, heavy rain, wind and even in snow/ice in Canada! I'm now sitting next to it in my cheap Walmart replacement as I simply can't get Oztrail equipment where I am in Latin America. It's not perfect, but the design is very well thought out. I loved the separate fly mesh, the entrance room giving extra space and the right size. The bag will break after just short use, but a canvas bag from a camping store (i forgot the name) proved perfect for it. The size is also great for solo or twin camping, leaving space for belongings inside when you have to weather out a day in the tent. Only downsides? The need to peg it down at the front if you are on hard ground and maybe that it's a bit bulkier than others. But for the price, an my use on a motorcycle that's perfectly fine.

Very happy with the product however the pegs provided are inferior for the purpose of the job.

I am now only replacing this exact same tent after 15 years of family use. It has been the best tent I have ever owned and has survived countless full-blown storms and three kids. Quick easy set-up and pack-up, time wise it's like setting up a small dome tent but only slightly longer due to 4 poles. i can't justify spending hundreds more on a fancier tent as this one, ticks all the boxes at a great price. After the years of use the main door zip has buggered up.. as to be expected with the traffic it has seen and a couple of small holes have developed in the rain fly.

Easy to set up and pack down, very roomy... more of a warm weather tent as it is mostly mesh. I would suggest providing bigger pegs though!

This is a fabulous shower tent. I have had it for a year and used it several times with my family whilst camping. It is very sturdy with plenty of height and space around you. It can withstand a strong breeze when its guy ropes are used. I have used it in very cold weather (1 degree Celcius) and it keeps you warm whilst showering. It has a great little zippered hole near the bottom to run in your shower hose, plus a spot to hook the shower head and a top hook for a small camping light if it's nighttime. The internal plastic pocket can hold your towel and clothes so they don't get wet. The removable floor is good for keeping the dirt off your feet, although I also bought a bamboo shower 'mat' (like a small duckboard) from KMart to go on top of the floor so that the water runs under your feet and to reduce the chance of slipping. The top mesh venting works well also, but you need to have the fly on to anchor the tent. My only real concern is the setup time (this is why it lost a star). For one person it takes 15-20mins. It is basically a small tent where everything is separate and must be assembled piece by piece. It is complicated! But if you are in one place for a few days that isn't really a problem I guess. I notice a newer 'fast-frame' version is available. That might overcome the complicated setup. :-) Apart from complicated setup I highly recommend this shower tent.
