Greatest bit of kit for the big pig.. I grabbed it for the rotisserie, to raise the coals up, but its better than that... put the grill plate over the top and its a super fast BBQ, you can grill and rotisserie at the same time... and the extra bonus is.. if you are doing a long couple of hours cook, wrap your veges in foil... and throw them in the pigs guts.. the heat from the coals heats up the main body of the pig and works like and oven... as the coals drop thru.. plenty of heat to cook the spuds.. whispers quietly... might try it with a cast iron dish to cook bread... only limited by your imagination

I've been looking for a long time for a good small camp oven but most are ridiculously priced. These are a quality casting that looks good and a very useful handle

From the hype I had read about this Ice box I had high expectations about how long the ice would remain frozen. Maybe it was just the learning curve of how to manage an ice box but I did find I was changing ice packs every day and only opening it maybe 3 times a day max as well as situating it in a shady place. I was using 14, 600ml frozen water bottles, with another 14 in the camp freezer. This system did keep the food nice and cold but it would have been good not to have been swapping the bottles out every day. Maybe I didn't have my ice/food ratio correct so I can't blame the ice box entirely but the hype around its efficiency lead to disappointment. Despite this I really like the cooler, I like the look and feel of it and the bung hole makes it easy to clean out. A word about the extras though, such as the divider and tray, I would have thought they'd be included with a pricey item such as this.
