I have never owned or used a Leatherman product so I did a lot of research before I decided on the Surge. The Wave gets a lot of love from users, particularly those that carry them on a belt or pocket. I'm not that kind of person. I have large hands, so the size was never going to be an issue. I noticed that a lot of YouTube reviewers who test a lot of EDC's consider the Surge as their favourite. It may be heavier and bit larger but every tool it has is that much sturdier. I like the detachable saw or file that can use 3rd party saw blades. I like that every tool locks. I also like the large sturdy scissors that are on one of the four outer slots. I also bought the bit driver set and the ratchet driver. The Surge is my "go to" tool for most everyday tasks.

Have only used it once but it is super easy to set up and use. Very happy with my purchase. While we are living in a caravan it's going to be great to do a few washes more often over the week. To get the bulk done and anything big like towels and sheets we can pay to wash.

So Easy to set up and fold down, a flick of the wrist and its up and fold back up, compact, comfortable and strong, combined with the Kiwi camping Rover king single mattress, it was like having a comfortable but compact single bed .Very happy with my purchase.
